We are seeking an experienced Proposal Engineer to support the development of integrated on‑site energy solutions.
This role is responsible for managing technical enquiries and delivering clear, competitive proposals for complex projects. It involves analysing RFQs, tenders, and specifications to ensure full alignment with client expectations. The position requires translating technical requirements into practical, value‑driven engineering solutions. Close collaboration with internal sales and engineering teams is essential throughout the proposal lifecycle. The role also entails coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors to define optimal technical configurations. Accurate cost estimation for equipment, materials, labour, and external services is a core responsibility.
The successful candidate will confidently present proposed solutions and respond to technical clarifications, identifying commercial and technical risks and proposing mitigation strategies is integral to the role.
Candidates should hold a relevant engineering degree within the power or energy domain. Proven experience in proposal or sales engineering within an industrial or energy environment is required.
