We are on the lookout for a motivated Legal & Regulatory Associate to join a boutique Maltese law firm focused on regulatory and commercial matters for businesses working at the crossroads of law and technology.
As a Legal & Regulatory Associate, you will be involved in a variety of tasks that ensure the company adheres to legal standards and in-house policies. You will be tasked with reviewing company practices and policies, conducting legal research, and offering counsel on a variety of legal issues. You will also assist in drafting legal documents, managing multiple cases, and handling compliance issues with attention to detail. Effective communication with various internal departments and external stakeholders is a key part of this role to facilitate legal and regulatory processes.
The ideal candidate must be a qualified lawyer with at least 1 year of post-qualification experience in a similar position, strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills, and experience in licensing, regulatory, compliance, or corporate/regulatory structuring roles would be considered an advantage.
