We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven senior leader to drive profitable growth across all distribution channels within a dynamic insurance environment. This strategic role will focus on translating corporate objectives into actionable distribution plans, ensuring products reach the right customers through the most effective and cost-efficient channels, while strengthening customer relationships and supporting overall business success.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing revenue growth strategies across diverse client segments, identifying and managing strategic partnerships to support sustainable premium growth, and leading the expansion of digital distribution capabilities in line with evolving market trends. You will maximise opportunities across all distribution channels, identify product opportunities and market threats, and provide ongoing support and consultation to partners on performance and underwriting initiatives, while maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders across clients, brokers, and agents. Working closely with cross-functional leaders, you will drive innovation, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making, oversee sales forecasting and performance across customer groups, and lead, mentor, and develop high-performing distribution teams with a strong focus on KPIs and continuous improvement.
You will collaborate with marketing to align campaigns with distribution strategies, ensure teams are equipped to upsell, cross-sell, and acquire new business, and coordinate with internal departments including Finance, HR, IT, Product, Strategy, Customer Experience, and Operations to execute key initiatives. In addition, you will ensure adherence to quality assurance and customer experience standards, recommend enhancements to improve the client journey, and provide strategic insights through ongoing analysis of financial results, product profitability, business mix, and market trends, presenting performance updates at senior leadership and board level as required. This role also involves driving innovation through process improvements and supporting the simplification of insurance acquisition processes, while ensuring compliance with regulatory and risk management requirements across all channels.
The ideal candidate will bring 10–20+ years’ experience in insurance distribution, sales leadership, or commercial strategy, with strong exposure to both traditional and digital models, a deep understanding of insurance products, underwriting principles, and financial metrics such as loss ratios, commissions, and channel profitability, and a proven track record of delivering against significant revenue targets. You will possess strong commercial acumen, excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills, a data-driven mindset, and the ability to lead multi-channel strategies, build high-performing teams, and drive operational excellence, combined with a resilient, innovative, and customer-centric approach and strong communication and influencing capabilities.
