Our client in the banking industry is looking for a Compliance Officer – Credit Card Marketing & Consumer Protection to join their team. In this role, you will ensure that all credit card advertising and marketing materials targeting the German market meet Maltese, EU and German regulatory requirements. You will review and approve campaigns across digital and print channels, provide guidance to marketing and product teams, support compliance monitoring, assist with MFSA-related obligations and contribute to policies, customer communications and new product reviews.
Ideally, you bring:
At least 4 years’ experience in compliance, legal or regulatory roles within banking or regulated services, ideally within an MFSA‑regulated environment. A degree in Law, Finance, Business, Economics or Marketing is required. You should also have a solid understanding of digital marketing practices (online advertising, social media, email, landing pages) and how these intersect with regulatory expectations. Strong analytical skills and excellent English communication are essential.
