An established international real estate investment organisation is seeking to appoint a Chief Executive Officer to lead and further grow its portfolio of assets.

The role is based in Malta and reporting directly to the Board of Directors, assuming full responsibility for the company’s strategic direction, operational management and financial performance.

The successful candidate will drive sustainable business growth while maximising return on investment, adopting a hands-on leadership approach that ensures effective day-to-day oversight of a diverse and expanding property portfolio. Central to the role is the identification and pursuit of new business opportunities across multiple markets, alongside the cultivation of strong, lasting relationships with key stakeholders and partners.

The CEO will lead high-level negotiations and spearhead business development initiatives, while providing the Board with clear, data-driven insights and comprehensive reporting to support informed decision-making. A strong commitment to governance, transparency and ethical business conduct is essential, ensuring that all activities align with robust corporate standards.

The organisation manages a varied portfolio of commercial real estate assets across several European countries, including office buildings, retail centres, healthcare facilities and food service outlets located in prime commercial districts, with continued expansion creating significant scope for growth and innovation.

Applicants should hold a degree in business administration, finance, architecture or a related field, with a postgraduate qualification such as an MBA considered an asset and must demonstrate extensive experience in senior executive roles at CEO, Managing Director, CFO or equivalent level, ideally within real estate or investment-driven environments.

A proven track record of leading teams, managing performance, navigating complex negotiations and delivering strong results is essential, supported by sound commercial acumen and strategic thinking. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, combined with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to operate effectively at Board level.

A competitive remuneration package commensurate with experience is offered, together with health insurance and flexible working conditions.
