We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Yachting to join a leading global corporate services provider in Malta. As the Head of Yachting, you will be responsible for leading, developing, and managing the firm's yachting practice within a regulated Maltese corporate services environment.
As the Head of Yachting, you will act as the firm's subject matter expert on yacht ownership and holding structures, yacht registration and renewals, and a broad range of legal and operational issues affecting the sector. You will work closely with senior leadership to drive the strategic growth of the yachting division, strengthen market presence and contribute to the development of the firm's aviation offering as well. The role combines technical legal expertise, client relationship management, business development and team leadership.
The successful candidate will be a qualified lawyer admitted to practise in Malta, with a minimum of ten years' experience within the yachting sector. You will possess extensive knowledge of yacht ownership structures, acquisitions and sales, financing arrangements, leasing and chartering structures, registration processes, and the legal, tax, and operational aspects of private and commercial yacht ownership. Experience advising high-net-worth individuals, family offices, brokers, and international intermediaries is essential.
