We are seeking a Litigation Lawyer to join a busy and well-regarded legal team within a well-established law firm in Malta.
In this position, you will manage a broad range of litigation matters, including advising clients on disputes, reviewing evidence, preparing legal documentation, and supporting cases through negotiation, mediation, and court proceedings where required. You will work closely with clients to understand their objectives, assess legal risk, and develop effective case strategies. The role will also involve drafting pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreements, liaising with counsel and external parties, attending hearings, and ensuring all matters are progressed efficiently in line with court deadlines and regulatory obligations.
The right candidate must have at least 3 years of experience working within a similar position, with a warrant to practice law in Malta. You should have excellent drafting and analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple matters at once. Confidence in client communication is essential, along with the ability to explain complex legal issues in a clear and practical way.
