Customer Service Assistant
About the opportunity...
As a Customer Service Assistant, you will be part of the Customer Service Centre team, supporting customers during the rollout of an enhanced online banking platform and mobile app.
You will handle incoming calls, resolve basic technical issues, and guide customers through new features — all while delivering friendly and efficient service.
This is an entry‑level role, making it ideal for individuals starting their career in customer service, banking, or first-line/digital support.
- Handling inbound calls related to login issues, navigation challenges, and basic online banking queries
- Supporting customers with mobile app and online banking features
- Providing first‑level troubleshooting such as app updates
- Escalating unresolved or complex technical issues to the relevant teams
- Capturing common customer issues to support future improvements
- Maintaining strong customer satisfaction through effective call handling and minimal waiting times
- Working within established policies, procedures, and service standards
Required Skills & Experience
- Proficiency in both Maltese and English (spoken and written)
- Strong computer and digital literacy
- Ability to communicate clearly and confidently
Desirable, but not required
- Experience in a call centre environment
- ECDL certificate
