Our client, a small construction company with a strong presence in the local market, is looking to recruit an Accounts Clerk (Accounts Payable) to join its finance team.
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you'll work closely with experienced finance professionals as part of a close-knit and supportive team environment. The role offers exposure to a variety of responsibilities including processing supplier invoices, preparing payments, reconciling supplier statements, maintaining accurate records, and liaising with vendors and internal departments, making it an ideal opportunity for someone looking to further develop their accounting skills within a dynamic industry.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role, a basic accounting knowledge, and a good understanding of Excel. We are looking for someone who is organised, detail-oriented, eager to learn, and enjoys working as part of a team.
